I had heard that applying a base coat will ruin the matte finish so I skipped that step. I applied two coats of the polish, took a picture then after a while applied a top coat.

Avon Violetta
Well it's official, I hate matte nail polish. Sure I only own two and they are both from the same company but I am not having the best luck with them. Knowing that I'd only be wearing this polish for a couple of hours, the application is sloppy and the photos aren't the best. I'll even tell you the process I used so you can tell me what I did wrong.

I'm with you on the matte polish thing. Shiny ftw ^_^
ReplyDeleteI apply a base coat with my mattes. But most matte polishes dry really fast so you have to work really fast to get even coverage. :)
